On Wednesday night, Dunbar defeated Lexington Christian Academy 10-5, earning the Bulldogs first district win of the 2023 season. Senior Tyler Gadd led the Bulldogs with a 2-3, 3 RBI performance. Another great showing came from junior left fielder Harrison Simpson. Simpson went 1-3 with 2 RBI's and a double. Senior Scott Kendrick and junior Logan Pittmon had one hit a piece as well. Junior Trey Todd earned his 2nd win of the season with a 3 inning 4 strikeout performance. Todd also only gave up 3 hits and 1 earned run. Next up, Dunbar heads to St. Petersburg Florida for a 4-game stretch starting on monday afternoon aganist Canisius High School out of Buffalo, New York.
